This is a “modular” set of workshops spread over three separate days. You can attend one or all of these 1 day workshops as and when you feel ready. However, you have to start with day 1 before you continue your journey.
Perhaps you want to know how to analyse in detail and then reproduce the voice of a famous person. Perhaps you want to invent and create voices from scratch for animation, computer games or your demo reel. Perhaps you want to learn more about your voice and tap into the hidden potentials inside.
Whatever your reasons for wanting to “release” those voices in side your head, this workshop is a “MUST” if you want to explore the wide range of creative options in your voice and wish to learn the skills needed to be able to reproduce your “characters” accurately again and again. Whether you want to work in entertaining extremes or to explore more subtle changes in age and tone, this series of one day “modular” workshops will provide you with “the how to”.

About Yvonne
Yvonne has worked for over twenty five years with actors, singers, dancers and voice artists in the theatre and recorded media. Individual and production work includes London’s West End. She has taught in several drama schools over the years and was most notably Head of Voice for LAMDA until recently. Work takes her to different parts of the country and beyond (Canada, America, Europe and the Middle East). She enjoys the challenges in an ever changing industry. She has a reputation for embracing everything from the traditional, classical repertoire expected of a voice teacher / vocal coach, through to the demands for voice in the 21st Century: character voices for animation, computer games, radio drama, commercials and vocal extremes (yelling, shouting, screaming etc). She is also a member of the British Voice Association and serves on the board of trustees for the Voice Care Network UK. She co-wrote the popular booklet “More Care For Your Voice” (Pub: Voice Care Network) which has sold over 11,000 copies and is currently working on a book about the power of words called “In the beginning” ……. And aside from “voice”, Yvonne shares an allotment and a number of rescued battery hens. She enjoys traditional archery and has been a drummer for one or two bands.
