The latter seems to be the Queen of (just about) affordable, quality mics but is at least twice as pricey as the other two..

Any feedback on what those with previous experience of this dilemma might advise?

His workshop was filled with useful, practical guidance on how to succeed in the voice over world and it was a great opportunity to get comfortable with the microphone and 'discover my voice'. The reel JP produced for me is great quality and helps demonstrate lots of different character and straight reads. He encouraged me to bring out quirky, vibrant & upbeat styles and I am really pleased with the finished product. After completing the reel JP recommended me to a Voice over agent so I am feeling hopeful.

It's how you make the listener "feel" that will get you hired!

Learn to "lift" those words off the page.

If you are seen to be "selling" you fail!
