About Yvonne Morley

Yvonne has worked for over twenty five years with actors, singers, dancers and voice artists in the theatre and recorded media. Individual and production work includes London’s West End. She has taught in several drama schools over the years and was most notably Head of Voice for LAMDA until recently. Work takes her to different parts of the country and beyond (Canada, America, Europe and the Middle East).
Yvonne enjoys the challenges in an ever changing industry. She has a reputation for embracing everything from the traditional, classical repertoire expected of a voice teacher / vocal coach, through to the demands for voice in the 21st Century: character voices for animation, computer games, radio drama, commercials and vocal extremes (yelling, shouting, screaming etc).
She is a member of the British Voice Association and serves on the board of trustees for the Voice Care Network UK. She co-wrote the popular booklet “More Care For Your Voice” (Pub: Voice Care Network) which has sold over 11,000 copies and is currently working on a book about the power of words called “In the beginning…”
……. And aside from “voice”, Yvonne shares an allotment and a number of rescued battery hens. She enjoys traditional archery and has been a drummer for one or two bands.

“A day well spent in a professional environment. The Vocal Intensive Workshop with Yvonne Morley was phenomenal. She was fantastic in her profession, which shows a large amount of her experience and skills, and craft. So much was learnt within a short period of time and I am certain we all took away something with us, that will enhanced our personal development for future jobs in the voice over industry.”

“A hearty thank you for today’s Voice Workshop. Although, I feel like we only touched the tip of the iceberg, I came away with some fantastic ideas and exercises to mull over. It is exactly what I have been looking for: a technical and in-depth look at how get the best from my voice”

“Absolutely terrific value for money! So much information and imparted so clearly and the skills you tutored us in are so valuable. Can’t get over the amount of information you gave us. So much detail too. Thank you Yvonne, it’s the best “value for money” course, I’ve ever been on (and I’ve been on a lot)”
