The audiobook market is growing fast and to be part of it, you’ll need a great demo that shows off not only your ‘stock’ narration voice but also your character voices and accents. Over 4,000 books a month are recorded in the UK alone and producers & publishers are looking for new emerging voices to narrate their projects. The next one they choose could be yours!

Demo Overview

3-4 contrasting audiobook reads – 5 mins max in total.
Ready to help for castings on Audible, Amazon, iTunes, ACX
Please choose from the genres listed below.
Mix 1st and 3rd person point of view.
Ideally one read should be non-fiction.
Choose genres you are planning to pitch to work in.
Up to 2 hour recording session
Up to 2 hours editing and mastering
Up to 4 hours total production time
Broadcast quality WAV & MP3 files included

We ask you to send us your chosen script material at least one week prior to your session. You are responsible for sourcing this, but we can give you assistance if needed and you can book a 121 Audiobook Coaching Session prior to your demo where we will help you make your choices.

I did my drama voice reel with Mike. Mike had obviously thought about each piece before I’d arrived and he was already prepared with some suggestions for musical settings and sound effects, which I had not been expecting. Mike has a strong musical instinct for what is going to work and a massive library at his fingertips. I appreciated how he listened and how he engaged with what I was trying to achieve. It felt like a collaboration and he was both patient and a perfectionist. While I am really looking forward to the final edit, I was delighted with the experience, and I look forward to returning for my next project.
